... it's definitely a bit banged up, what do you think this is worth?

So yeah. These are a bunch of cards and like I'm guessing you see with a lot of childhood collections, some of the cards are *really* beat up. They traveled unsleeved in backpacks and pockets, and I'm unable to guarantee none of them ever accidentally saw the inside of a washing machine.

That said, I could use some help as I have no idea what I'm looking at here. 5 or 6 moves and at least 20y after I last bought or traded for a Pokémon card, I found my old collection is a moving box. Filtered out the rares and sleeved them, but I don't intend to keep them. The nostalgia hit was nice, but my geeky interests morphed more towards fantasy and scifi after the early teen Pokémon craze of the late 90s/early 00s. Also, I'm more nostalgic for the GameBoy games than the cards when it comes to Pokémon (full Pokédex Crystal save, let's gooo!).

Anyway. I'm not looking for a detailed breakdown of the collection, I just want some rough guidance on whether there's anything here worth trying to sell the collection for, or whether it really is just old cardboard. In which case it's going to a friend who's kid just got into colllecting the cards (but deliberately isn't allowed expensive ones yet because of playground shenanigans). WDYT?

I’ve been trying to use ebay to find out the value using sold comps but I can’t find many that compare. Would anyone know? No scratching along surface.

I opened a 30th booster to see a pack ripped and assumed i was scammed. Got a hit but there’s ribbing where the card was cut. is this worth more now? or was i scammed? don’t usually sell but i’m curious. also first gold border so very excited and it being an error cut feels more exciting (hard to see ribbing in second photo of card but it is there)

I have 6 etb’s of common cards and 2 of holo/reverse holos

I have no clue lol, I looked it up on google and it said 150 but that seems like waay too much so I’m trying to get a second opinion lol

I ordered a soldering tool from Japan and it arrived like a month late so they threw these in as a sorry I guess. Anything worth while?

Any ideas on where I could list such a card or what it’s worth?

My folks have had this box pretty much since I was a kid of extra cards they’ve collected.

Most of these seem to be themed decks which I’m not sure what to value them at since the cards are pre determined.

But then there’s some interesting items. Such as the Tops Tin that claims to have a 7 Packs+1 Foil and a Mega Sized Chroma Card but is the TV Animation Edition.

Or the Trading Card Game VHS that comes with a pre made deck as well as a CD ROM Diskthat explains how to play the game.

Or the Thunderstorm Gift Box that claims to have 3 Randomized 11 Card Booster Packs with from recent sets on top of the 60 cards that comes with the deck.

Any tips on how to look this stuff up and value it would be appreciated.

I bought this card in the beginning of the year and paid around 350$ CAD for it. I bought it at a card shop. I feel that I paid under market and since I am collecting unlimited card, I would sell this one for an unlimited in similar condition. Looking online I feel the prices are a bit all over the place.
