Political Put your ballots in the official ballot boxes. Don't mail them.

The proposed site is right on the Willamette in the defunct Zidell Ship Yards. It would be the 2nd MLB team to build their stadium in an old ship yard after Camden Yards in Baltimore.
It's a beautiful spot for a stadium. It's quite small, so the stadium could only hold around 35k people. That would make it one of the most unique/intimate stadiums in all of baseball. There wouldn't be room for parking near the proposed site, but the stadium would be literally feet from both the Tilikum pedestrian bridge and the aerial tram, making it an ideal spot for handling the crowds.
And before anyone gets up in arms about the cost, the future owner and players would pay for 100% of the costs. Not a dime would be spent by taxpayers.
What do you think? Would you like to see a MLB team come to Portland?

Relatively few ICE detainees challenge the lawfulness of their detention. But advocates for detainees able to file challenges the day of their arrest say ICE tries to “beat the clock” to get detainees to Washington state before a judge in Oregon can order them released pending additional court hearings.

The following is from the City of Newport Communications Director John Fuller:
All businesses on the Bayfront are able to reopen.
A small section of Bay Blvd. between SW Hatfield St. and SW Lee St. will remain closed indefinitely during the fire investigation and cleanup. Currently there is no timeline for either to be completed, but we will provide updates as those processes continue to progress. The sidewalk in front of Ripley's Believe It or Not (in the area where the street remains closed) is fully reopened.
The investigation of the fire began today. Oregon State Fire Marshall is leading the investigation with the Newport Fire Department assisting. We do not currently have a timeline for when the investigation will be complete.
Statistics from the Newport Fire Department: Approximately 1.6 million gallons of water was used to fight the fire, averaging approximately 3,400 gallons per minute.

Hoping to get this phone back to owner. I found it on a dive at 15ft in the Sandy River and was shocked when it took a charge, looked like it was down there for a while. I think its a iPhone 15 pro, no identifiers in the case, medical ID, and siri didn't wanna work. Any help would be great. If not I guess I'll keep it around as an expensive flash light lol.

News to me! I just watched this ad and almost fell off the couch. It’s absolutely insane and beyond bizarre. I hope everyone is voting because our democracy depends on it like never before. 🌊 is coming!

Hope everyone is safe.
EDIT: So we can clear up any mis-information, the hazmat team stated no ammonia tanks burst, and that the earlier reporting was incorrect.

We are excited to be moving the area! We need to stay within 30min or so of my partner's job in Grants Pass. I stayed in Talent and worked in Medford for a few months a couple of years ago, and I really liked the area! I've looked at other posts, but didn't see much about Rogue River, Wolf Creek, or Selma. We are hoping to get something with at least 10ac or is backed up to BLM so that's why we keep looking at these areas.
