Do you dislike the lack of changelog for the core rules? How about the off-schedule unannounced stealth updates? Frequent errors, technical problems and crashes? Upset that Warcom is no longer actively updated, or that faction packs are being removed? Maybe you're just bothered that the core rules are not fully available anywhere besides the app.
Whatever the reason, the best solution is to submit a complaint or question to one of GW's official contact points, rather than asking about it on the sub.

A buddy got me into this game quite recently and I got way too into it way too fast. 2 months later, I played him in my first 1v1 game with my 1k Cursed Legion army. Got fully painted a few hours before the match and just wanted to share! Haven’t seen any yellow necrons before, so behold, my Bananecrons

While putting my warriors together I realized the handle that goes into the gun fits snugly enough to not require the arm to be attached while still being loose enough to pull off reasonably easily, so I decided to paint them seperately to have the option to swap weapons. I didn't realize that would require about an hour and a half of putting tiny blobs of bluetak into holes and onto pegs
Don't know why I'm posting this, just wanted to share my pain a little lol

It's a popular depiction of Trazyn the Infinite, but I can't find its source where it first appeared.
I searched the available codices, novel covers, online articles, but couldn't find it.
The oldest I found is this 2020 "Welcome Your New Necron Overlords" Warhammer Community article.
https://www.warhammer-community.com/en-gb/articles/PB264l6v/welcome-your-new-necron-overlords/
But that's not the first appearance, cause this image is older than 2020.
Do you guys know where this art first appeared? Or who is the artists?

Los Immortales are here to defend the gates of the mexicron dynasty against any and all invaders!
With their luscious mustaches and spotless sombreros nothing can stand in their way. The gauss blasters are tequila powered of course.

"This weigher of souls acknowledges the mark you have placed upon these targets."
A couple deathmarks mid displacement!

I have finally finished the entire combat patrol! This has been my first box of minis I've ever painted so I've learnt a lot through the process of painting all these guys!
Thank you all for the encouraging words and bits of feedback during this painting process, which has been very much appreciated! Now I need to decide on the next unit, I'm thinking maybe a squad of LHD and some lychguard

Gonna do a few of the Crypteks in my Ogdobekh army as Maynarkh and explain it away as free agents or exiled Lords.

Hello !
I'm fairly new to the game and has a beginner decided to go with Necrons (I just love them).
I already own a lot of units thanks to my boyfriend who subscribed to the Imperium mag during V9 but now I'm wondering if getting this box is worth with what I already own ?
The units I'm the less interested in are the Canoptek Doomstalker (I don't have) and the group of 10 Necron Warriors (I already own 20 of them).
I was also wondering if the price of the box was already revealed (last I check it was only rumors).

I bought a Necron army which contained these converted minis a while back and have been running them as wraiths. Now that I've finally got some real wraiths I'm looking to convert them into usable models.
They're on 40mm bases and so I'm thinking of converting 3 into Chronomancers. Does anyone have any ideas or recommended bits to make them look the part?

So after almost a year of learning about Warhammer and putting way more hours into both space marine 2 and darktide than one person should. Some recent birthday money tipped me over the edge of wanting to start painting models!
Problem being that I have no experience in painting, let alone painting models so I feel rather in over my head. My main question is around what paints I should get as a priority.
I'm in the UK and loaded dice seems to be a good website to use? (Going to in person stores can be difficult for me physically) I saw that they do a "Necron paint set" which includes the following paints for £25:
Base (3): Leadbelcher, Runelord Brass, Abaddon Black
Layer (3): Canoptek Alloy, Runefang Steel, Moot Green
Shade (2): Nuln Oil, Agrax Earthshade
Technical (2): Tesseract Glow, Typhus Corrosion
I was also planning to get chaos black spray paint primer. Would that be a good selection of paints to start with? Or do I need more / less?
My second question is arguably more important, what models should I start with? I know the combat patrol is a good place to start but if I'm being honest I would rather get something smaller first. I was thinking of getting a box of 10 warriors and maybe one other box to start with. If so, what would you recommend?
My idea was to get these models and then look into the combat patrol and royal court boxes in time for Christmas.
I know these sorts of posts come up a lot but you can only learn so much from videos and other people's posts. Either way I'm sure anything you guys say will help me out ☺️
