Discussion Anyone else feel like trying to produce faster is ruining their actual sound?
Hey everyone,
I’ve been into music and tech for a while now, and I’m pretty familiar with the creative loop we all get stuck in. Sometimes it’s the ideas (chords, melodies, rhythm, sound selection), sometimes it's the arrangement, and sometimes it's just trying to glue everything together to get a clean mix and master.
We all know the industry pushes us to produce faster these days. But trying to keep up with that pace feels like it's hurting my artistic approach. At the same time, most AI tools out there just spit out messy, cookie-cutter, generic results that don't sound real.
How do you guys deal with this? What does your actual workflow look like? Where do you waste the most time, and how do you speed things up without losing your own style?
Would love to hear how you handle it.
