So my PS4 had a malfunction in 2016 (shouldn't have purchased it second hand) and from that point over all my games were just accumulating dust over the decade (time goes flying).
However, as soon as I heard about the PC ports I knew I had to try them out. Just so you know, these can't be played unless you got a copy of the game, which I could extract in my current laptop using my older one with a disc reader. And boy... IT'S JUST INSANE.
They achieved in a few weeks what ShadPS4 devs haven't yet gotten to work: Killzone Shadow Fall working natively in PC at (almost) 60fps. Of course, this is still in an early development stage but so far... it's just beyond anything I could think was currently possible. Heck I gave up and decided to wait another 5 years before they could get a decent, stable version working for PS4 emulators.
I don't usually write stuff this long to glaze on things but this deserves every single bit of my time, I've been grinding it 4 hours ago (rusty after all those years) and I haven't felt this engaged for a game in well, more than a decade.
I hope there's most of these ports so KZ2 and KZ3 can be played just as good without RPCS3, at least for those who rely on that AND have recently been playing recently polished MP modes.
Here's some screenshots of my gameplay so far AND the FPS counter to prove this is being played from a gaming laptop (also notice the Nvidia Filters)
