TIPS / TACTICS Galactic War Room: Plot the Best Ways to Spread Democracy for Super Earth!
Welcome to the Galactic War Room:
The Federation is in grave danger and it is in your hands to discuss the best ways to spread and protect our liberty from our many enemies.
This thread is sorted by new, so you will always find the greatest democratic insights right up top.
Useful Information:
Gambits by u/Sea-Flamingo1969:
In Helldivers 2, a gambit is when players skip defending a planet under attack and instead strike the source planet that launched the assault.
If the source world is liberated the defense is automatically won, saving both planets.
It is a high risk, high reward move because success stops the invasion and secures two planets, but if too few players commit the defending planet may fall before the source can be taken. Gambits demand strong coordination and timing, making them one of the most dramatic strategies in the Galactic War.

MEGATHREAD Q&A Megathread (Ask your questions here!)
Greetings, Helldivers!
So we have noticed that most Questions asked on the subreddit don’t need their own post therefore we have decided to create this Q&A Megathread, a place where all Helldivers can ask questions and get help/advice from others. And if you decide that what you have to ask requires a separate post then you should know that we will be actively moderating and critically assessing the quality of those posts to lessen the amount of reposts and low-effort content on this subreddit.
If you're here to help out by answering questions we thank you 🫡 Just please make sure to sort the post by 'New' (if it isn’t already) so you can see the newer, unanswered questions.
P.S. This megathread has been added to the sidebar.

DISCUSSION Devoid of Liberty thoughts
Devoid of Content update cycle
So we've only gotten 3 warbonds, 2 rewards, seaf forces, new enemies, and Liberty day across 3 patches making this one of if not the least content filled update cycles in Helldivers 2.
Marked in red is content we have lost acces to or haven't/won't get according to the Roadmap.
I personally think the Devoid of Liberty update cycle has been a major undeniable let down as this has imo been the worst patch cycle in terms of new stuff added to the game.

TIPS / TACTICS I'm tired of the constant misunderstanding of Stationary Shroud, so here's my testing.
I mostly stealth solo dive squids, so Stationary Shroud's benefits were completely apparent through the Stingray.
Common myth is that the Stingray always knows where you are and makes stealth irrelevant, but truth is that the Stingray has 360 degree 500 meter vision. Might make a stealth guide about them since no one knows anything about them but idk I hate reddit.
Armed with the theory that Stationary Shroud is a 75 percent vision reduction (via wiki) when crouched or prone, I took a hover pack on Valmox and climbed to the highest peak and crouched. Multiple times a stingray came in at 100 meters and no aggro was generated, meaning that the supposedly 75 percent reduction to vision was wrong.
I played a dozens of missions with Stationary Shroud and realized that every time I was still, things with extreme vision, like Harvesters, Stingrays, and even getting within 38 meters of Leviathans with their massive 3000(!) meter vision, wouldn't notice me. Mind you that Reduced Signature would fail me in these scenarios. I remember the days of studying the elusive Stingray early on in the release with stealth but ultimately become detected. Now with Stationary Shroud, there is a consistent way to avoid them and control their engagements.
My current working theory is that it reduces the vision radius of ALL enemies to about 12-15 meters. But wait. This sound very familiar to smoke grenades. Because it is. Stationary Shroud is an unlimited use, albeit situational, personal smoke grenade. Such vision limiters already exist in game. Just queue up a planet with fog and watch the Stingrays do nothing but fly in circles. So, Stationary Shroud acts like bushes, smoke, and somewhat like fog.
So, awesome. What does this mean combat wise? Mainly control. Enemies have an issue with shooting back if they can't see you so they have to close the distance, which is hard to do when the helldiver is posted high up (and hidden from Stingrays/Leviathans!). Another combat use, which more people are aware of, is disengagement. Once line of sight is broken, it's is incredibly easy to hide from Watchers and even Stingrays. Any stationary objective can easily be stealthed like flag raises, terminals, and extractions.
I'm sure with this knowledge that other divers can find use cases across the other fronts, but for now, this is what I've found out about the Stationary Shroud. It's highly situational but keeps you hidden from enemies with high vision, which also gets multiplied by 2 when alerted.

FAN CREATION Refrigerated Ranger
Have an idea for an armor passive that's been on my mind for a bit. A thematic passive that improves performance for laser weapons. And that could stay on a theme of refrigeration. Especially now since they have been consistently adding so many laser weapons into the game, something like this would be awesome! What do y'all think?! Arrowhead, if you're reading this, please steal this idea and make it happen! Lol

DISCUSSION I love the SEAF but I don’t think the game loves them
I both love and hate having the SEAF on missions. I love having a bunch of friends around, listening to their silly dialogue, and are more helpful than you’d realize. But I also hate having to babysit them since they’re so damn fragile. And as if that wasn’t enough, those dummies are always shooting each other! I feel like I lose more SEAF buddies to friendly fire than the enemy! I can’t be the only one who thinks this right? To say nothing of how they’re kinda outmatched against certain sub-factions and melt in seconds.

QUESTION Super Citizen armor change
Has anyone noticed that the Savior of the Free lean body model was changed? It used to have a slimmer, feminine shape to it but has changed to be more masculine. I don’t like playing as a bulky guy so the shape of it was a big reason why I bought it. Has anyone else noticed the change?
First photo is the change, second is original.
