Minimum Karma Requirements for Job Offers

Due to the influx of low quality and scam posts we've seen, we are imposing minimum karma requirements for posting jobs.

This has been a long time coming, especially how easy it is for someone to make a new account and post the same thing again.

We do not tell you what the minimum karma is to post here.

Do not ask us to tell you what the limit is to post there. This includes Marco Polo and hot/cold potato messaging games to figure it out. You will be muted and subsequently banned.

You also will be banned for trying to pass off your "hire me" post as a "Hiring" post.

Thanks for noting this update, proceed with your regular business.

Rules Reminder + Updates: Low Quality, Commission & Other Things

I was hoping to not have to make another announcement until we got more mods, but this unfortunately is getting pushed before that.

From this point on, any of these job postings will result in an immediate permaban. All but a few of these are already rule violations, but have been removed in a lesser degree with a "second chance". We're not entertaining these any longer, due to repeat offenders and the quality of the jobs. All but a handful of these are predatory, opportunistic scammers and have no place here.

-

Commission-Based Only Jobs: We've had it up to here with this, along with the arguments of how "they're earning more than $20/hr, give us a break!" The rule is a blanket for all the crappy ones that may not be esteemed as yours. If you're not paying them a $15/hr salary along with the commission, it's not welcome here.

Paid Posters + Accounts: This is something we've already been banning for a short bit, but take this as the "This isn't welcome here" hint. Renting an account or asking for someone to use theirs to post for you counts as account buying/renting. Most of these are against TOS of the providers that allow you to use them in the first place.

Vague, Low Quality Posts: "DM me for a quick $30 job", or "Need help with something, message me" are not longer permitted. If you can't state what the job is so that a freelancer can understand if they're good for the job, that's on you. If you're doing it so you don't get banned or removed, that's no longer allowed.

Intentional Hiring from India or the Philippines for Low Pay: Otherwise known as "South Asians highly encouraged to apply" in code speak. I warned about this before last year, but now it is a bannable on-sight offense. This is still going on, and under the guise of "sir pls, it's a decent pay rate for <region of India>!" Or on top of that, some wannabe guru from the US/Canada looking to outsource his non-college stuff to a Filipino assistant for $4/hr, and "mating" us when we point out it's a rule-break.

We've already had the discussion of why these pay rates aren't allowed on this subreddit. We heavily encourage and point you to r/slavelabour if that's what you want.

Causing Others to Violate the "No PM" Rule: This is something we've always enforced since 2019 automatically. This is enforced with a permaban as well. That said, if your post is encouraging users to apply in the comments instead of sending you a message, you'll be getting a ban as well for making them break the rule. Read the room instead of mass-spamming your job across a dozen subreddits.

This includes codewords, asking for contact info or portfolio links in the comments.

Promising a Job, but it's Guised Promotion to a Job Board: We've seen this a dime a dozen lately; someone promising a graphic design job, but then pointing to a new startup job board/work platform. This is no longer allowed. Most of these are a Reddit account affiliated with the "brand" of the board in question.

No OF Content: That's right, we heard you! We've had it up to here with it now, and things like "OF chatters", "OF girls" or "OF agencies" are no longer allowed on this subreddit.

These have always been removed to a point, but it's gotten to the point that OF girls think that promoting their account is "freelance work" and "professional". That's not even mentioning how abusive and low-paying OF agencies are, or how discriminatory a lot of the job postings come across.

Note that legitimate jobs that require some NSFW things (novel writing, artwork, etc) are not affected by this. It's not our intention to stomp on legitimate expression or issues.

Hiring Based on Gender, Age and Race: This may fly in your third world country, but we absolutely will not stand for this. Unless it's a legitimate need such as a modeling gig or you need a voice for a game, you're not allowed to blatantly say "Need female appointment setters" or "Hungry teens for sales jobs".

On that note, you're prohibited from hiring minors on this subreddit, due to liability reasons. There's people who think hiring 13-year-olds for 40+ hours a week is okay.

-

Read the room. Read the rules. Please.

And for all things sane, if your post gets removed or you get banned, read your removal message. We clearly tell you why you're banned or it got removed. Stop messaging us "Omg why did I get banned?" when you're told.

Obligatory announcement over. Happy freelancing.

For Hire [For Hire] Full-stack dev, 7+ yrs | I fix and launch apps built with Lovable, Bolt or Cursor | Remote | fixed prices from $490

• Upvotes

If you built your app with Lovable, Bolt or Cursor and it mostly works but you can't get it live, that's the part I usually get hired for.

I'm Badii, a full-stack dev with 7+ years of experience. I work alone, no agency and no subcontractors. Things I fix most often:

  • Login and signup flows that break once real users show up
  • Supabase row-level security that's missing or wrong
  • Stripe payments and webhooks that don't update the database
  • Deploys, custom domains and env vars
  • Moving off Lovable or Bolt hosting to your own repo, Supabase and hosting

Sometimes it's one bug. Sometimes a founder needs someone to own the tech side for a few months. I do both.

Stack: TypeScript, Node, NestJS, Angular, React/Next.js, Prisma, PostgreSQL, Supabase, Stripe.

Work:

  • themerchantengine.com, a headless commerce platform I built on NestJS, Angular, Prisma and Postgres
  • badii.studio, my site, with write-ups on common Lovable and Supabase problems

Prices (fixed, not hourly):

  • Launch audit: $490, findings in 3 business days
  • Fix one specific blocker: $750
  • Fix and launch: $2,500 to $6,500
  • Ongoing monthly help: from $750/month

If you want to talk, book 30 min here: https://calendly.com/badii-studio. Or DM me what you built and where it's stuck, and I'll tell you straight if it's something I can fix.

I'm in Tunisia (UTC+1), so I overlap with EU all day and US East Coast mornings.

For Hire [FOR HIRE] Graphic Designer (6+ yrs) Logos & brand Identities for businesses

• Upvotes

Hey, I’m Rish a graphic designer with 6+ years of experience and 50+ brands worked with.

I work with founders and growing brands that have a good product, but feel like their visual identity hasn’t caught up with the quality of what they’re building.

Maybe you’re launching a clothing or lifestyle brand and don’t want it to look like a first draft.

Maybe you’ve been running your business for a few years and your logo, packaging, or visuals still feel like they were made on day one.

Or maybe you simply know the brand could look a lot more distinctive, but aren’t sure what needs to change.

That’s the kind of problem I like solving.

My approach is strategy-first. Before I open Illustrator, I want to understand the brand, its audience, its competition, and what you actually want people to feel when they see it. The goal isn't just to make something that looks good in a presentation it needs to work in the real world.

Recent work

[Full portfolio ](https://www.behance.net/graphiccookinglab) - Graphic Cooking Lab on Behance

Rates

Logo Design — $500 flat

Brand identity, apparel, posters & other design work — $40/hr

How I work

Clear timeline upfront, regular updates throughout the project, and no disappearing for two weeks after taking the deposit.

Payments accepted via PayPal, Wise, or bank transfer.

I'm open to one-off projects as well as ongoing design work.

If you're building a brand and feel like the visuals aren't quite communicating the quality behind it, drop a comment or DM me and tell me what you're working on.

Happy to take a look and talk through what might be worth improving, even if you're still figuring out exactly what you need.

Hi everyone!

I’m looking for a client who needs a reliable, organized, and trustworthy Personal Virtual Assistant to help manage their day-to-day personal and business tasks.

I’m an American based in Spain (CET/CEST), with experience in administrative support, social media management, customer communication, content editing, and daily operations. I enjoy helping people stay organized, streamline their workload, and focus on what matters most.

A little about my experience

My background spans hospitality management, event planning, software development, and creative direction, where I’ve spent years coordinating projects, managing operations, and bringing creative ideas to life.

These experiences have strengthened my ability to anticipate needs, solve problems, manage multiple priorities, and stay organized in fast-paced environments. As an Assistant Creative Director, I’ve also developed a strong eye for detail and the ability to balance creative vision with practical execution.

I’m comfortable working independently and remotely, adapting to new tools and workflows, and taking ownership of my responsibilities. I pride myself on being proactive, dependable, and someone who follows through.

Here's how I can help you:

  • Administrative Support: Data entry, document organization, spreadsheets, and task tracking.
  • Personal Assistance: Daily task management, scheduling, and general organization.
  • Email & Calendar Management: Organizing communications, scheduling, and follow-ups.

  • Customer Support: Responding to inquiries and maintaining professional communication.
  • Research: Online research, information gathering, and concise summaries.
  • Content Assistance: Photo editing, basic content creation, and digital asset organization.

What you can expect from me

More than anything, I want to be someone you can trust.

I believe great working relationships are built on honesty, communication, and consistency.

If I don’t know how to do something, I’ll be upfront about it. If something isn’t clear, I’ll ask rather than make assumptions. And in the rare occasion I make a mistake, I’ll take responsibility and do my best to resolve it.

I’m always willing to learn, take initiative, and improve. My goal is to become someone you can confidently rely on, not just to complete tasks, but to make your day-to-day life easier.

Rates & Availability

  • Rate: $15/hour (negotiable)
  • Availability: Flexible
  • Work Arrangement: Fully remote
  • Preference: Long-term working relationship

I’m looking for a client who values reliability, communication, and a genuine working partnership.

If you need someone to take tasks off your plate, keep things organized, and help your personal or business operations run more smoothly, I’d love to hear from you!

For Hire [FOR HIRE] Branding, Marketing Strategy & Funnels | I like figuring out why people buy things - Starts at $600

One thing I’ve learned from building my own consumer brand is that having a good product isn’t enough. People need a reason to care about it.

And that reason isn’t always the product itself.

Sometimes it’s how you position it, the experience you create around it, the way you communicate its value, or how you make people feel when they encounter your brand.

That’s the stuff I love thinking about.

I’m a founder with hands-on experience building a consumer brand, developing its positioning, creating marketing concepts, and figuring out how to turn attention into actual customers. My approach to marketing is pretty interconnected. I don’t see branding, content, and sales funnels as separate problems.

If your marketing isn’t converting, I want to understand why. Is your positioning unclear? Is your offer difficult to understand? Are you attracting the wrong people? Is there a disconnect between your content and what you’re actually selling?

I like getting to the root of the problem instead of throwing random tactics at it.

Here’s what I can help with:
→ Brand strategy & positioning - Figure out what makes your business different and how to communicate that difference.
→ Brand messaging - Find the words, angles, and value propositions that make people understand why your business matters to them.
→ Marketing strategy - Develop practical marketing ideas and campaigns that connect your brand with the right audience.
→ Sales funnel strategy - Map out the journey from discovery to purchase and identify where potential customers are dropping off.
→ Landing page strategy & copy - Structure your messaging and offer so visitors understand what you’re selling and why they should care.

I particularly enjoy working with founders and small businesses that know they have something valuable but haven’t quite figured out how to position, communicate, or sell it effectively.

I’m creative, but I also care about the commercial side of things. A beautiful brand is great. A clever campaign is great. But I want to understand how the pieces work together to help the business grow.

I’m currently taking on freelance projects and am open to different scopes depending on what your business needs.
If you’re interested, send me a DM telling me a little about your business and what you’re trying to solve. We can talk through the problem and see if I’m the right person to help.

No pressure, no generic marketing advice. Just a conversation about your business. :)

For Hire [For Hire] CAD Drafter — permit-ready IRC/IBC drawing sets (decks, stairs, additions, pole barns)

I turn a sketch or a marked-up photo into a fully dimensioned, permit-ready drawing set: cover sheet, plans, framing, footing details, and code notes. Delivered as PDF (DWG billed separately, $25), 3–5 day turnaround for most projects, 02 revisions included (additional revisions billed hourly).

Background: 80+ proposal and construction sets drafted remotely for a Colorado engineering firm, retaining walls, structural additions, decks, stairs, and residential remodels under IRC/IBC. Advanced AutoCAD.

Scope, up front so we're aligned: I draft to IRC/IBC prescriptive provisions - work that stays within code tables (most decks, stairs, small additions, and retaining walls), where no engineered calculations are required. For anything outside prescriptive limits (most pole/IBC buildings, non-standard spans, anything your jurisdiction flags) structural calcs and a PE stamp are arranged separately on your end, and I deliver a clean set built to drop straight into that review. Drafting services only, not engineering.

Rate: Flat per set starting at $150, or hourly — depends on scope. Send me the details and I'll quote it.

Portfolio and samples: https://s-cerna.github.io

Send me a DM with what you're building and I'll get back to you.

For Hire [For Hire] Personal Virtual Assistant | Admin Support | Social Media |

Hi everyone! I’m looking for a client who needs a reliable Personal Virtual Assistant to help with their daily personal and business tasks.

I’m from the Philippines, and I have experience in social media management, administrative support, customer communication, content editing, and day-to-day operations.

I’ve worked with a Canadian automotive business handling vehicle photos and listings, managed Reddit accounts and online communities, and supported tasks that required organization, attention to detail, and following instructions.

But more than anything, I want to be someone you can trust.

I’m big on honesty and clear communication. If I don’t know how to do something, I’ll tell you instead of pretending I do. If something isn’t clear, I’ll ask rather than make assumptions. And if I make a mistake, I’ll own up to it and do my best to fix it.

Here’s what I can help you with:
• Personal and administrative tasks
• Email and calendar management
• Online research and data entry
• Social media management and content posting
• Customer messages and follow-ups
• Photo editing and basic content creation
• Organizing files, trackers, and daily tasks

I’m comfortable working remotely, learning new tools, following SOPs, and adapting to your preferred way of working.

My rate is $15 per hour, and I’m interested in finding a client I can work with long-term. (negotiable)

I’m not going to claim I know everything, but I’m willing to learn, take responsibility for my work, and improve along the way. I believe a good working relationship isn’t just about getting tasks done it’s also about trust, communication, and consistency.

If you think I could be a good fit for you, feel free to send me a DM. I’d be happy to introduce myself and discuss how I can help.
Thank you for reading!

For Hire [For Hire] GoHighLevel Specialist | CRM & Automation $30/hr

Hi everyone! I'm currently looking for remote work as a GoHighLevel Specialist, Technical VA, or Automation Assistant.

I have 2 years of hands-on experience with GoHighLevel, including:

  • Building custom websites and funnels from scratch
  • Setting up and managing CRMs, sales pipelines, and lead management systems
  • Creating, maintaining, and troubleshooting complex workflows
  • Building custom appointment tracking and follow-up automations
  • Building custom integrations between GHL and third-party platforms, including Make, Zapier, WordPress, Microsoft 365, Google Sheets, APIs, and webhooks
  • Auditing existing setups, fixing issues, and improving systems to make them more efficient
  • Developing custom solutions based on specific business needs rather than relying only on ready-made templates

I can build systems from the ground up or work with your existing GHL setup to update, optimize, troubleshoot, and improve your current processes.

I'm quick to learn, enjoy solving technical problems, and like finding ways to make systems work better.

Location: Cebu, Philippines
💻 Setup: Remote
🕒 Availability: Up to 40 hours per week

I'm open to both short-term projects and long-term opportunities. If you're hiring or know someone who needs help with GoHighLevel, CRM management, or automation, please feel free to message me.

Thank you!

For Hire [For Hire] Meta Ads | Sales Funnels | Tech Integrations | Follow Up Automations

Hey all!

My name is Ilona, and I’ve spent the last 7 years working with multiple 7-figure business owners, handling everything from their marketing strategies and sales funnels to Meta ads, backend integrations and follow-up automations.

I’m looking to take on a few more clients, specifically established business owners who already have a proven offer but need someone experienced to handle the marketing and tech side of things.

One of the biggest advantages of working with me is that you don’t need to hire three different people to manage your ads, build your funnels and connect all the tech. I can handle all of it.

I’ve worked with plenty of different platforms and systems over the years, so chances are I’ve already worked with whatever you’re using.

I’m also not someone who needs to be told what to do every step of the way. I can look at what you currently have, figure out what needs improving and get to work.

My rates start at $2,000 USD per month, depending on what you need help with.

Ideally, I’d love to work with business owners who have something that’s already selling and are ready to invest in getting more consistent leads and sales.

If you’re looking for someone who knows what they’re doing and can take a whole lot off your plate, feel free to send me a message. Happy to chat!
