Wooden tables gear has seized up and I cannot close the table
Wooden dining room table's gear to close it seized up. How does one get the gear working again?

Door knob gets stuck when I turn to the right, but not when I turn the left. Old door knob didn't do this. The problem seems to get better if I loosen the screws, but then it wobbles on the door. Help please!

White heat marks on dark-stained Siberian larch table. Hair dryer hasn’t helped. Best repair?
Two hot pizzas were placed on our dining table with only baking/parchment paper underneath. They left the large cloudy white marks shown in the photos.
The seller described the table as dark-stained Siberian larch, approximately 45 mm thick. The surface has a rustic, textured finish with lighter grain showing through the dark colour.
Unfortunately, I don’t know what protective finish was applied over the stain: lacquer, polyurethane, oil, wax, or something else.
I’ve tried gentle heat from a hair dryer without any visible improvement.
I’d like to repair the marks myself while preserving the existing dark colour and texture.
What would you check or test first to identify the finish? Does this look like moisture blushing, or damage that needs refinishing? Would a blush remover be appropriate only after confirming the coating?
Advice from people who have repaired a similar finish would be appreciated.

My wife put a heavier load in it, thought that might have been it. So I emptied it, and tried to rerun it empty. Still does the same thing. I'm kinda stumped, the more I read into it the longer and more complicated the potential problems seem to be. I don't have a shop vac or anything to easily drain it, and its gonna be a logistical nightmare to get it outside to drain. I assume it's the pump? I'm not really the handyman type, so I have to YouTube just about everything, and I'm afraid to start "tinkering", because well I'm just as liable to break something as take it off or put it back right. Plus everything I look up seems to relate to more modern Whirlpools and this is an older more manual one.

Hey everyone,
I just bought a new hose and I'm having trouble with my first install. It's spraying water directly out of the connection joint.
My setup:
• Valve: 3-way T-valve (3/8" size) male (link)
• Adapter: ABA Beul 15007.215.2 Hexagonal Reducer 1/2 Inch (male) x 3/8 Inch Brass (female) (link)
• Hose: 1/2" female hose (brand new, and the internal rubber washer is definitely inside the coupling) (link)
Despite the washer being in place, it just isn't sealing properly and leaks under pressure. Am I missing something? Did I bought the wrong adapter or a bad hose?

This is the medium shinic 3 speeds rotating window fan from Amazon. I turned it on last night and it was completely fine until this buzzing started. Is there any way to fix this so I don’t have to endure the sound or throw it away?

I accidentally dropped this metal piece from a table I was putting together. The circular openings are now bent so I can't attach it to the base. What would be the easiest way to un-bend the openings?
Edit: used some pliers to fix the bent parts, then shaved some parts off with a dremmel tool. It's not perfect (didn't necessarily need it to be) but it worked. Thanks yall!

Accidentially put a heated pot on the countertop and left some burning marks on it。 The countertop is actually a layer of plastic with pattern wraped on the wood plate (as shown in the second image). Could it be fixed?

This pen is full of ink BUT it's not writing anymore. There's a gap or buble in there and I don't want to throw it away, the ink is right there.

I’m disassembling a BIHUI Tools 2" Mini Angle Grinder (gooseneck style), and I’m trying to remove the longitudinal drive shaft and its bearing from the housing.
The first photo shows the motor-side end of the shaft and bearing. The second photo shows the bevel pinion gear through the opening in the grinder head.
I’ve removed all the retaining rings/circlips I could find, but the shaft won’t come out. I tried gently pulling on the exposed end with pliers, but it didn’t move, so I stopped to avoid damaging it.
Does anyone know how this assembly comes apart?
Ideally, I’d like to remove the shaft and bearing together without damaging the housing. If anyone has an exploded parts diagram or has repaired this model, I’d really appreciate the advice.

After moving, my LED sign (fake neon) no longer works and just flashes (see video above). Is there any way to fix this?

I recently noticed this damage on my wooden nightstand after someone left something sitting on it. I'm not sure what caused it, but it looks like the finish has been stripped away in a few spots. Maybe oil or something, idk.
Is there a relatively simple way to repair this without having to sand and refinish the entire top? I'd love to make it look as close to the original as possible and don't want to make it worse.
Once I patch the hole I'm going to take care of the rust.

I ordered these from Alibaba and as you can see, the longer acrylic panes have bowed in the middle. What is the best way (if any) to fix this. I've put something in the middle to stretch it and I think it has helped but not enough to eliminate it. I haven't done anything with temperature etc. Is it likely that this is just the way it is/it would slowly revert if I did unbend it?

Need to take it out to replace the broken handle of a shutter crank roller. Normally there’d be some type of screw, but this old model was mounted with... whatever this is and I’ve no idea how to remove it.
