He was warming up great, included some contact in his warm up, but ultimately was ruled out. In the video he shook his head as he exited after warm-up

Joerger was the mastermind behind the grit and grind grizzlies. Those teams were never more talented than the teams they faced in the playoffs but they were tough as hell and every team hated playing against them in a 7 game series. If he can come in and change the mentality of this team, it'll be worth it.

We are a soft team. Honestly, we showed our softness after Jaden McDaniels punked the entire team last playoffs. We are suffering from a mentality standpoint

We just aren't as talented as the other top teams, we need an edge.

We need a grit and grind mentality. If Joerger can take over and instill it in any way and bring toughness to the team, then we should make the change, and maybe salvage the season.

I don’t know what to call him yet, but I vote we call his blocks Brazilean Whacks.

Obviously our guys did not bring their best the start this season and many of us are disappointed, not just in the results but in the effort and focus they seem to be playing with. Defensive rotations are off, and our shot selection seems... haphazard? I'm generally an optimistic fan and am ride or die Denver, but even I think the criticism is fair at this point that it needs to better.

That being said, it's only 3 games. 82 is a loooooong year, and they all know they got months more basketball to play. Concern at this point is fair, but can we chill on the hate and trade talks and "washed" comments? Criticism? Yes! But like, straight up just dooming? We suck, blow it up, Joker/Jamal/Gordon old? Already tired of seeing it.

Things can turn around fast as a game, and everyone pretends they didn't talk shit when shit was bad. Don't be a fair weather fan. Have a touch of patience please.

edit. If/when it comes time... Adelman is my core concern. The team culture, vibe, whatever you want to call it is what seems off more than anything.

I also feel like we're all just forgetting we had like 4 players sit out tonight, who would have made a big difference.

I for one do get some bad vibes from Adelman as coach. I don't know what it is but it never seemed like the right choice and its hard to see him as a championship-winning coach. However, one thing that its far too early to worry about is how Jokic is playing. Last year, Jokic played five games in October against relatively easy opponents (Warriors, Suns, Wolves, Pelicans, Blazers).

So yes, there are some obvious flaws early in the season that need to be addressed for this team to even make a little noise in the playoffs. However, I am not at all worried about Jokic at this point.

When Adelman was elevated to head coach and had his first post game presser my wife walked by the tv and asked “who’s the guy that sounds and looks like Flick Duck from PB&J Otter?” (Millennials might be the only ones who know that show?)

Any time she would watch a game since then she’d say something on the lines of “he’s just not it.”

I defended him at the time but it’s getting hard to. I need this guy to pull this team together before I have to tell my wife she was right all along.

Me and my girlfriend are in Denver for the week from Michigan (pistons fan here but nuggets have been my second team for a while) and we are going to the game tonight. We are staying somewhat close to the arena, but was wondering if anyone had any tips on best strat for parking/driving. We ideally would love to explore Denver and just walk right up to the arena when the doors open, but I’m unsure on if that will work parking wise. We are also wondering if ubering might just be our best bet. If anyone has any advice, we would gladly take it lol. Thanks everyone!

Seriously, after the performance last night, especially with that block, we may have picked up a GEM. To early to call, but I think we are in a good spot.
