24yo Wanting To Pivot My Career
I went to college for IT and got a degree after my family firmly objected to becoming a mechanic (I’m a woman, frowned upon to have a “dirty” job).
I love working on cars and work on mine on my free time. I have a passion for it, love the sport and have become more and more involved in the scene the older I get. I’ve looked at resources to see how I could dip my toes into the automotive world, but haven’t found anything that doesn’t involve me becoming a full time student (which I cannot afford at the moment).
Is there anything out there for work study? Sponsorships or apprenticeships? The pay doesn’t even have to be great, just something to cover bills while I complete any certification or degree.
Thank you in advance
:)
