It's pretty clear that this year, the KC offense runs through K9. You wanna shut down KC? Stop K9. Maybe that will change later in the year when Patrick is further removed from his injury and Rashee Rice is back, but so far it has been K9 all the way.

Their only weapon is K9. If they can’t get the ground game going, it’s screens to K9. They have no vertical threat, and Kelce just isn’t the same player. Seahawks told KC to beat them with the other dudes and they couldn’t do it.

Only two teams have been able to hold Kenneth Walker to under 100 rushing yards so far. One of them are the current reigning Super Bowl champions, the Seattle Seahawks. The other team, as we all expected prior to this season, are the Miami Dolphins.
Have a great night everyone!

Just like everyone predicted: Emmanuel Wilson would be the running back to hit 100 rushing yards this game.
Also, on that topic, is this perhaps one of the greatest run defenses ever? Like, we’re on 2 years straight of no single 100 yard rusher

This was probably the most dominant defensive performance in the Macdonald era for the Hawks.
Held K9 to his worst game of the year when he for sure had every motive to put in his best performance. Patrick looked like he was lost on a lot of their possessions. Receivers couldn’t ever get too many YAC and so many break ups. Scheme was flawless. Blanked in the first half and only 3 points total. Couldn’t have hoped for a better outcome responsibly.
And we really needed this win as a franchise. Definitely feel like we got our mojo back after tonight.
I fucking love this team.

I've been told repeatedly over the last week that Bo Nix winning a game against this Seattle team with a 71.1 passer rating demonstrated that he was possibly the worst quarterback in the league, yet 2x MVP/3x Super Bowl champ Patrick Mahomes loses by three scores coming off a bye to the same team with a 58.3 passer rating. Curious.

The demise of the Seahawks defense was vastly over hyped.
They're still amazing, and a lot of the points they gave up were on very short fields after turnovers by the offense.
If the offense can clean up the turnovers, the defense can pitch blowouts like tonight.

Seahawks defense is other wordly. Made K9 and Mahomes look pedestrian as hell.
Great hate watch.

What a treat! Seeing our QB getting his confidence back and the Chiefs getting dog walked by the hawks is a great day.

I love it when the chiefs are exposed as the ref merchants they always were.

I was told that K9 is elite and the Seahawks were stupid for letting him go
Man he really showed them tonight with the whopping 36 yards and 2.6 per attempt
Meanwhile JSN with 9 for 150 and a TD. Priorities on who should be paid.

"The Seahawks may have won but Mahomes and Kelce once again showed why they are living legends. Two key plays in this game for me: Mahomes incredible, vailent effort to recover that fumble and Kelce's amazing curl route to pick up a key first down. Just amazing, legendary stuff." - Collingsworth, probably

Why did nobody else try not letting Mahomes reach the redzone?

Now HERES a guy who knows how to lose a football game. NOBODY looks better losing than Patrick ah-huh-huh Mahomes, the way he willed his team to three whole points was just elite.

3 points and Mahomes looking confused the whole second half. Darnold outplaying him was not on my bingo card for this season

Well, there you go. Just stop Walker and the Chiefs lose. Why hasn’t anyone tried doing that this year?

Anyone else notice the missed grounding call against Mahomes with like 3:30 left in the 4th quarter?

This puts a cherry on top of my day. Dolphins get their first win of the season and the chiefs get their first loss. Here’s to many more of both

The audacity of Collinsworth to say "it feels like the wrong team is running out the clock with a 3 score lead" when the reigning champs are in control of the game
