I know that it's the popular thing to hate on Felicity, and I am in no way criticizing this synopsis because it was great, but it makes sense that Barry would ask about Felicity. Didn't they kiss? I mean, especially after he got word of her being shot. And for those who are complaining that it was during an important search, Barry and Diggle were waiting for results. Then, later on, when waiting for King Shark to take the bait, Barry talked to Caitlin about her love life. Believe it or not, Felicity isn't ruining anything.

This last Arrow episode was very good, until the last minute or so. I wouldn't be surprised that Felicity is in that grave and it's just Oliver having the illusion that she's there in the car with him (kind of like his subconsciousness.)

The Felicity exchange was exactly how I felt during that scene, the only out of tune note in an otherwise pretty perfect episode. It was especially odd since it would have actually fit well at the end of the episode when Diggle was talking about Barry blaming himself for Jay, since Oliver very recently went through the exact same character beats when Felicity was shot.

She got shot, stuck in a wheelchair, after a few episodes, her employee made a chip that she used to walk again before giving her ring back to Oliver because he couldn't make an "impossible decision" (as said by herself) on letting her know he had a child, which would stop him from seeing his own son ever again. Yeah, you're better off not watching the "Felicity and Friends" show.

I disagree. I dislike the Ollicity stuff as much as anyone else but Barry and Felicity are friends. Of course he'd be concerned about her and if an Arrow cast member showed up, it's appropriate to ask in the 30 seconds of free time he had.

He's standing around in the middle of a military operation waiting for a half-man/half-shark that has already killed dozens of trained professionals. Not only that, but this threat has nearly killed him twice at this point and is the last threat from Earth-2 that he is extremely anxious to be rid of. Having him casually bring up Felicity in this setting is not consistent with the stakes of what is going on. It would be like Oliver asking about Cisco before facing Malcolm in single combat.

Sharks can't respirate if they stop moving in water, so the tank scene was either poorly researched or King Shark was punking everyone.

I actually liked Joss' work with the first Avengers. Age of Ultron got way too quippy/whimsical though; I kept waiting for the movie to get serious/Ultron to get terrifying (as a genocidal robot voiced by possible real life genocidal robot James Spader should) and it never happened.

I think it's just so the shows can run uninterrupted from the time they pick back up in March to the finales in May. It also helps break the season's story into three sections. For example, season 1 ended up shaking out as part 1 (eps. 1-9) being Barry becoming the Flash and learning to be a hero while struggling with his feelings for Iris/Joe being suspicious of Wells, part 2 (eps 10-14) was origin of Firestorm/Joe investigating the night of Nora's murder/Barry trying to get faster and move on from his feelings for Iris, and part 3 (eps. 15-23) was the team realizing Wells could in fact walk and might know something about time travel.
